Next June, Madeira shall be welcoming the first edition of the French regatta “Les Sables-Madere-Les Sables”, for 40-feet sailboats and Quinta do Lorde marina, in Caniçal, has been chosen to host the participating sailors and boats.

The finishing line for the regatta first leg shall be at Machico/Caniçal bay where, on the 5th of July, will also be the starting point of the return leg to Les Sables.

This shall be an important sailing event, as international journalists shall be going to Madeira specially to watch the 25 yachts starting the race and sailing towards Les Sables.
